The Women of Asphalt - Colorado are announcing their first session for their training academy which will be held on January 22, 2022 from 9am to 1pm.

It will be held at Martin Marietta's Monaghan Plant at 27650 E. 26th Ave, Aurora, CO.

The first session is going to be a plant tour at the Martin Marietta Monaghan Plant in Aurora. This is a state of the art plant and has been in operation for about 2 seasons.

In this session, information will be presented about how the plant operates, the construction of stockpiled materials, Binder Storage, lime introduction and the equipment that is used at the plant and on the projects. Attendees will be given the opportunity to get up close to the plant including a visit to the control house.

If you have your own PPE, please plan on having that with you at the tour.

Lunch will be included in the session.

This is the first of four sessions for 2022, for the W of A- Colorado Training Academy. Each session will provide opportunities to learn about all aspects of the asphalt paving industry.
