• MEMBER Classifications
The By-Laws provide for three classes of membership, Member, Associate, and Affiliate.

MEMBER: Any person, firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which is capable of manufacturing, producing, supplying or applying asphalt or asphalt products, or asphalt mixtures in the State of Colorado. |
| 2) |
ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Any equipment supplier (major) [pavers, rollers, plants, etc.], contractor, aggregate supplier, emulsion supplier, consulting engineering firms and testing labs, subcontractor (milling, trucking, other) in the State of Colorado. |
| 3) |
AFFILIATE MEMBER: Any governmental agency, insurance/bonding company, independent consultants/engineers, equipment supplier (minor) [testing equipment, etc.,] additive supplier in the State of Colorado. |
The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA)
is a nonprofit trade association representing the hot mix asphalt industry of Colorado. Over 230 organizations are members of CAPA, making it the voice of the asphalt industry throughout the state. CAPA has grown to include both producer and user organizations. Fifty cities, towns and counties have become members of CAPA and make use of the technical assistance available through the association.
Whether a large heavy/highway contractor or a small commercial paver, CAPA is here to serve you and the industry it represents. Check us out!
OUR MISSION:
The mission of the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) is to advance the quality and use of asphalt pavements in Colorado.
CAPA is composed of both producers and users (including governmental agencies) working together to design, construct and maintain high quality pavements.
2012 MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY AVAILABLE
The 2012 CAPA Membership Directory has been developed and over 1,300 copies were distributed and additional copies will be available at the Annual Conference in February 2012. The directory includes a listing of all member companies, contact information for CDOT, city, and county representatives. Additional copies are available by contacting the CAPA office at office@co-asphalt.com or at (303) 741-6150. |
