Program Topics: This seminar will provide an overview of asphalt pavement design. Current CDOT asphalt pavement design procuderes will be presented and case study examples explained. Guidance on local agency pavement design will be provided. Work CDOT is doing on a new Mechanistic Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) will be discussed with overview information on Perpetual Pavement designs.

RMAEC Trains Military Veterans in Asphalt Technology
The RMAEC is partnering with PDI Inc. to place military veterans in the asphalt industry as field engineering technicians. The first course started on Monday, April 26 and 6 military veterans are included. As part of the program, the veterans receive two days of QC/QA training and salary (paid internship) for 160 hours of employment. The RMAEC schedules Hot Mix Asphalt Maintenance and Repair Seminar
This annual one day seminar hosted by the Rocky Mountain Asphalt Education Center, focuses on the preventative maintenance and best practices for repair of HMA in streets, parking lots, and paths. We invite you to participate in this seminar, instructed by experts in our industry.
The seminar includes classroom instruction and weather permitting, outside demonstrations of repair and maintenance techniques.
The seminar is designed for local agencies, including maintenance crew members, CDOT maintenance crews and supervisory personnel, consultants, contractors, property management and maintenance firms, as well as property owners.
